Effect of Periodic Winter Irrigation on Salt Distribution Characteristics and Cotton Yield in Drip Irrigation under Plastic Film in Xinjiang

Winter irrigation is an effective means of salt leaching, but the long-term effect on salinity unclear. In 2008–2019, three different soil types farmlands were selected as study area by drip under film mulch combined with periodic winter in non-growth period. The 0–150 cm well survival rate and yield cotton growth periods monitored, respectively. mass fraction decreased rapidly irrigation, then, content each observation layer increased years cultivation. After 10 application, basically stabilized at a low level. 2008, loamy clay, loam, sandy loam varied within 6–60, 10–65, 4–22 g·kg?1; after four irrigations 2019, corresponding values dropped below 5.74, 3, 4.76 g·kg?1, returns layers all exceeded 40%. desalination soils 63.52%. Cotton directly proportional to other. second rates 60%. results this can provide technical support for sustainable development soil, farmers’ income increase, salinization land improvement.
